Overview

The Tanzil Seminary Quran Hifdh and Tajweed Curriculum is a comprehensive program designed to help students memorize the Holy Quran while mastering the rules of Tajweed for accurate and beautiful recitation. The curriculum integrates structured memorization, daily revision (Muraja'ah), and personalized instruction to develop strong retention, proper pronunciation, and a lifelong connection with the Quran. Students receive individual guidance from qualified instructors who monitor progress through continuous assessment and regular evaluations.

Program Objectives

  • Memorize the Holy Quran with accuracy and consistency.
  • Master the correct pronunciation (Makharij) and characteristics (Sifaat) of Arabic letters.

  • Noorani Qaida review (where needed).
  • Correct pronunciation (Makharij).
  • Basic Tajweed rules.
  • Memorization of selected short Surahs.
  • Daily revision routines.

2. Hifdh Development

  • Personalized memorization schedule.
  • Verse-by-verse memorization techniques.
  • Daily Sabaq (new lesson).
  • Sabqi (recent revision).
  • Manzil (long-term revision).
  • Weekly and monthly assessments to monitor progress and strengthen retention.

3. Tajweed Mastery

  • Makharij and Sifaat of letters.
  • Noon Sakinah and Tanween.
  • Meem Sakinah.
  • Ghunnah.
  • Qalqalah.
  • Rules of Madd (elongation).
  • Tafkheem and Tarqeeq.
  • Waqf and Ibtida (stopping and starting).
  • Practical application during daily recitation.

Teaching Methodology
